Dltk Preschool Cat Paper Crafts
Posted in Crafts on 10/10/2005 05:28 am by adminMy neighbors put elaborate lighting displays. You have every line of the roof, every tree, every bush and decorated with lights. While this screen gives me pleasure, I wonder about the cost and drain of electrical energy. I have taken a simpler approach to Christmas decorations.
CORONA DE FIESTA. I purchased a royal crown in search of plastic at the supermarket for $ 10 and have used it for years. Our front door is red, but also metal, so hang the crown flowers in the house to the left of the door. A spotlight illuminates $ 5 at the crown and turn light at 9 pm
Fresh apples. Fill a bowl with apples and has a moment central fragrant. To make your heart even more festive ribbon tie a loop for each block and attach to the stem with pins.
CHRISTMAS CARD ART. Many stores have framed photographs of vacations and expensive. You can have the art of holidays because of the loss. Buy a Christmas card, put it in a framework of discount stores, and display their art in the mantle. If you do not have a mantle to put the card in a frame that has a sofa-back support.
It's the berries. Wide-mouth jars are one of the best deals around. Buy a box of bottles and fill them with fresh blueberries. Tie a wire frame ribbon bow to each bottle. Show jars in rows or individually.
PRETZEL TREE. One of the most charming decorations we had was a small Norfolk pine I bought at the grocery store. Até pretzels round the tree with a plaid ribbon and put it in the living room where guests can see immediately.
PAPER SNOWFLAKES COMPLEX. Kids love cutting paper snowflakes and snowflakes will be even prettier, if cut from origami paper. For instructions on complex snowflake cut Children may enter http://www.papersnowflakes.com/instructions.htm. Teens can enjoy Poland and cut snowflakes can find directions for Gwiazdy in http://www.dltk-kids.com/world/mgwiazdy.html.
THIS DOOR. Cover your door with aluminum foil and tie a ribbon around it to look like a gift. We bought red door in a store locally. Our kit does not include the tape, however. If your local home store has no door that can cover the door with aluminum foil. Hold cover in place with adhesive tape.
FOOD GRATER Luminaries. Tea lights box food graters make a dramatic center. Use the box graters have or buy them at local Army Salvation / Goodwill stores. For safety, sail trim in baby food jars and put some water in each.
Sticks and branches. Import and sale of garden stories bunches of natural resources, high sticks. Leave natural or paint sticks with red, gold, silver spray paint. Place sticks in a large bowl or vase. Wind small tree lights around the sticks or glue on the paper stars.
