With Christmas only a month now is the time to start making your crepe paper Christmas cards. Many people think that the crepe paper is used only for the flowers. When in fact the paper can be used to do several things. The assortment of colors of crepe paper allows you to do almost any type of Christmas card you can imagine.
In this article I will provide you with a few wonderful ideas crepe paper Christmas cards you can do. The elements to be included, crepe paper, scissors, tape, clear drying glue and a ruler. For each project requires a few additional items, so you may already have or can pick up at a craft store.
Holiday Cards - To make a crepe paper Christmas card you will need all the supplies listed above and added some more, cardboard, old Christmas cards with pictures of them, frost green, red and green, red, silver or gold curling ribbon. To mount the card using your ruler to measure the cardboard to the size you want, you can have a single card or dual card (one that folds in half.)
Cover the cardboard with a clear crepe paper drying glue to attach it. If you want to write a personal message sure to leave a small section of the card free of crepe paper. You can also make a Christmas card in the form of a holiday symbol such as a crown Flower, Santa Claus, Christmas tree, star, child gingerbread, sugar cane, snowman, or anything else that you associate with Christmas. All you need is a large metal biscuit cutter or a paper pattern. Use cardboard cut to shape and cover the front of it with crepe paper. It You can decorate as you like. You may want to make a snowman, gingerbread boy or girl bulging eyes or make little balls of paper for the Christmas tree to represent the bulbs, a wreath can be decorated with different colors of glitter. Use the back to write a short personal note or attach a photo.
Cards Christmas crepe paper are so easy to make and the beneficiaries are worshiped. Do not forget to add a small bow from curling ribbon. These cards also can be made in a miniature form and used as gift tags!
