- Feature in August included an introduction to 8-3-07 edition of "Vanna's Choice, the new line of yarn created by Lion Brand Yarn, in collaboration with Vanna White. The Lion Brand Yarn 8-10-07 presented an organic thread called 'Nature Choice ", which is grown and made without the use of pesticides, herbicides or other chemicals. 8-10-07 The issue also includes articles on Afghans for Afghans charity and presenting the brand of Leon in the New York chapter of the Crochet Guild. The problem appears 8-17-07 a new story by Michelle Edwards titled "Sisterhood of the Needle ". The major theme 8-24-07" tips from the Lion Brand Design Department ". In the 8-31-07 issue the featured article was about the death of his own threads with natural dyes from food items.

- Pattern appears in August included three Afghans, one point Easy Playtime Set for a child, a point Beanie Baby called "Worms in the Grass" and the point Bubblegum Baby Set, all made with the "Vanna's Choice yarn. The six models appeared in the newsletter of 8-3-07. In the 8-10-07 issue three pattern were presented that used the new "Nature's Choice" yarn. The 8-17-07 issue had "Back to School" with issues such as patterns of two knitted hooded sweaters, a "Naturally Classic Knit Vest" and a "cable knit vest. In the patterns of 8-24-07 item included a "Crochet Squares Afghan", "Boys striped knitted cardigan" and "Not Your-media-Granny Crochet Scarf".

- Books and publications appears in August included two "Vanna's Choice" in the 8-3-07 edition titles. These included "Heart Gifts to-point and crochet "and" Color Afghan beautiful. "8-17-07 The book Stefanie Japel prominent theme of" Equipped knitted fabrics. "8-24-07 The theme is a book on amigurami (the art of knitting and crocheting stuffed animals) called "Mr. Funky's Super Happy Crochet Wonderful".
