What is the need to face painting in the army?
It is the purpose of that to conceal? Or is put for other reasons?
As others have said it is camouflage and blaze ..... even at night. In that notice be aware that the army is using raw without boots shine as opposed to the old shiny or soft reflection give additional night vision equipment. But what others do not mention is that, although the color and the mixing from is important but not the most important. The human brain has a remarkable ability to select a human face in a landscape, or when trying to process a large amount of visual data. Of course, this is a survival mechanism rooted. So what makes face paint is visually break up the shape of the face. Consider that from a dark line hair line, a third of the way through. Countinues line to the eye, continues through the center of the cheek and then swerving through the half mouth to the chin. So when someone's watching, is more difficult to discern the face, cheek, nose and chin combination that the brain processes to identify other human being.
