Features / Strength:

• The CL310 has a nice 15 "long cutting blade that is ideal for cutting paper" Lager. It's great scrapbooking because it can easily handle the 12 "x 12" paper and the album is also very accurate. It is a popular choice for artisans scrapbooks and small organizations.
• The CL310 has several important safety features that are essential to a guillotine cutter style paper. Has a lock to keep the blade locked in the down position when not in use. It also has a tension spring mechanism prevents the blade fall when it is high in the vertical position. Finally, have a purple finger guard metal that helps prevent slipping your fingers under of the blade during the cutting process.
• The Classicut 310 has appropriate measures in the cutting table to help you align your documents. They are set by about 3 inches from the top of the court to help keep your cuts more precise and also has lines of practice on the table section to help you align your documents. Measures on the CL 310 are metric and imperial units so you can cut based in inches or inches, depending on your preference.
• The leaf on the CL310 may be both more accurate and replaced. This means that if you find that the blade becomes dull, simply take it to a local sharpness and you can renew. Having sharpened the blade of a couple of times or if notched or chipped, replace it. Replacement Blades are available and cost significantly less than buying a paper cutter.

Weaknesses and limitations:

Recommendation:

• This cutter is ideal for scrapbooking, creating craft projects and applications for use with light volume. In fact, my wife has one and uses it to create their album.
• Not ideal for cutting high volume and problems with Security in an office environment where liability may be cause for concern. In addition, construction is not as durable and is not is designed to withstand high volume applications or for use in the school environment.
